Behind the veil of mist, something awaits you.
It is a painting on canvas worked with oil pigments. Satin varnish. To create this work, I was inspired by those days when the sea mist hides the city and tinges everything with almost unpredictable shades of colour. It is the city of San Sebastian, Donostia, in the Basque Country. In its bay lies the island of Santa Clara.
On an orange base that stands out in the contours, ultramarine blue between greens and whites in the sky, Naples yellow and pinks. Brushstrokes and textures with a spatula.
