This year, I took part in the Prague Plein Air Festival.
This sketch captures a detail of a spire just above the famous astronomical clock in Prague, located in the Old Town Square.
Although we arrived early, the square was already bustling with people, so I decided to focus on a smaller element rather than tackle the entire, intricate clock.
What really drew my attention was the play of light and the dramatic shadow cast on the building behind — it felt like the perfect subject for a quick study.
The photo with the passpartout is just to give you an idea of how it would look framed.
