The sky is darkening and the day draws to a close but still the sun can send rays flaring across the sky. Clouds turn brilliant yellow and dusky red, the air is warm, and yellow light spills throughout the expanse.
This lovely acrylic painting is 860x1140mm, portrait, canvas on a framed stretcher and ready to hang. Backlit clouds on an afternoon sky, with the sun in frame flaring strongly. Bright warm colours, and a great sense of depth and space, it captures the last rays of the day.
