In this painting from the series “Aufbruch” (Departure), I worked with many layers of texture and color to capture the flowing energy of a sunrise. The impressionistic play of colors shows the moment when light and nature merge, full of hope and new beginnings. This creates great depth and special lighting effects. The bright yellow, orange, and red tones on the horizon make you curious about what lies beyond. It makes you want to set off on a journey into the light, which is what the title expresses. The sides of the painting are painted so that it can be hung without a frame. The painting is signed on the front and back and is ready to hang. The surface of the painting has a protective varnish coating with UV protection.
