You see a still life with pink chrysanthemums. I added some plums so that the flowers would not be lonely and boring. The dark plums with a purple tinge complement the lilac-pink colour of the chrysanthemums perfectly._x000D_
I really love chrysanthemums. What attracts me to them is not only their appearance, but also their light, slightly bitter fragrance. The smell reminds me of the smell of wormwood, a completely unaesthetic herb._x000D_
The painting is painted in mixed technique. The first layer of the painting_x000D_
is acrylic. I painted the whole background and the darkest spots of the bouquet with acrylic. The acrylic_x000D_
quickly dried, then I applied a special pastel primer to the painting and the background. Аnd then I painted the whole still life with dry pastel. In my opinion, in this technique, when you mix two different materials, it makes the painting more_x000D_
