This piece emerged from quiet contemplation — a reflection on hidden depth and structure. I worked with palette knives and dry brushing to create an interplay of vertical and horizontal planes, allowing textures to break through the surface like layered thoughts.

The color palette moves between deep indigo, soft beige, slate blue, ivory white, and carbon black. These tones fade, crack, blend and collide, evoking geological formations, distant landscapes, or perhaps even old maps of emotions.

This painting carries a sense of balance and subtle drama. It fits beautifully in contemporary, Japandi, and neutral-toned interiors, drawing attention without shouting for it.
