I think many adults sometimes long for solitude. To shut out everything going on around them. To retreat into themselves. This is especially relevant now. I try to convey this desire with the slightly grotesque subject matter of this painting.

This is an original painting. I sign the work on both the front and back. A certificate of authenticity, certified with the museum's seal, can be included if desired.

This oil painting is painted on gallery-stretched canvas and does not require a frame, as the edges are painted. You can prepare the painting for hanging with a hook on the back.
