In my new series "Deconstructive Flowers", the motif of the flower becomes a pretext to question painting itself. What remains of a form when it dissolves in the act of applying color? What happens when expression outweighs representation?
From gesture grows rhythm, from rhythm emerges an image.
Here, the flower is only a memory—an echo that travels through the painting process. Its structure disintegrates into expressive fields, its contour fades into the energy of the application. In this way, a form of deconstruction arises that does not destroy but reveals: the uncontrollable, the emotional, the living.
