I painted this piece as an outlet for emotion, like many of my paintings. Brush. rag, palette knives, and hours of colour produced the Dawn Rising. The sun rises over the moors, the birds are in flight soaring and dancing above. The vivid brushstrokes of crimson, magenta, ochre and orange bring the sublime light across the great swathes of heather.

It's panoramic, on my favourite dimension 120x50cm. A gentle inspirational emotional piece.

This painting is on artist quality slimline cotton canvas, and stretched with strong wooden bars. With painted sides and varnish it is ready to go with no need for a frame. There is a signature on the front and on the reverse is the Title, a date and signature. All my works are accompanied with a unique Certificate of Authenticity.
