Sculpture on hand-worked Lecce stone, designed and created by the artist Andrea Serra. Illuminating sculpture "Dance of the waves" embodies serenity and laxity, evoking a sense of peace and tranquility. The soft shapes that represent waves with the chiaroscuro that are formed, creating an atmosphere of calm and reflection.
Illuminated by a warm white led light strip inside (color tone can be changed on request)
The working of this work is entirely carried out by hand on this stone that is found only in very few areas of southern Italy, namely in the lower Salento in the province of Lecce. This particular stone of marine origin, rich in plant and animal fossils dating back several million years, makes it suitable for the processing of details.
The illuminating sculpture Dance of the waves, like every work by Andrea Serra, being hand-carved, is unique and signed in engraving by the artist.
