Oil on linen 70x90x2cm (27.6x35.5x0.8in) 2013 SOLD, private collection, Vigevano, IT
The toy car is a series which I set up in 2013 to be the focus of my first solo exhibition. “Dany, Micky , Mago” is, possibly, the most surreal piece of the series. In this artwork, the three models seat in the toy car and drive it as if it is a real car. Micky, the driver, holds a TV wire instead of a steering wheel. I took advantage of photo editing programs in the pre-painting process to create a sample to follow while painting.
Dany, Micky, Mago is a 90x70 oil on linen painting and it is now part of a private collection.
