Original artwork description
This painterly monotype is a one-off print.
The unique artwork was inspired by a sketch of a former dancer from the Royal Ballet.
I paint onto a sheet of steel using rollers, brush and card, mark-making with various tools along the way before printing the image just once using my press.
This will be wrapped in acid-free tissue and loosely rolled into a thick-walled, 10cm wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
Materials used:
Somerset Velvet paper 300g, Intaglio inks, etching press
