Original artwork description:

I've been digging up lots of photos of Colorado. This one was taken of a ridge called the "Dakota Hogback" out our front door. The neighborhood kids spent a lot of time scrambling around the base of this ridge, which had lots of rock outcroppings. My thoughts of Colorado are rich with deep red, sandstone against intensely vivid blue sky and dark green evergreens. Ok, Dakota Hogback's outcroppings were actually grey granite, but my mind wants them red, like the sandstone canyons everywhere in the west. Scramble up those rocks, my friend, and watch that southwest sky break loose a warm, spring thundershower.

Dakota Scramble arrives prewired, ready to hang.
