Original artwork description
This dashing hound has just returned from a gallery exhibition and is now ready to find his forever home.
This is one serious dachshund! His name is Digger and just like a lot of dachshunds digging is what he was born to do which is why he's wearing a rather fetching light blue miners helmet.
Digger and his hard hat have been created with combination of paper mache and hand crafted clay called Carton Pierre which is a paper clay with added strengthening ingredients and is designed to hang from a screw in the wall (see the back of the sculpture for the keyhole fixing).
He is painted with Bristol paint and sealed with french polish, his light has gold leaf finishings and he measurements:
H11 x W10.4 x D8 inches
Take care with this artwork, when you put it on the wall over the screw be sure to gently pull it down a little to lock it into place.
