The origins of czardas can be traced back to the 18th-century Hungarian musical genre, verbunkos, where "verbunk" was used by the Austrian army as a recruitment dance. The melodies come from Hungarian folk and popular music. The size is 76 x 76 x 4cm and is ready to be hung.
Signed and dated at the back, varnished for protection and incudes a certificate of authenticity.
