- Cyanotype 30 Memories
Artwork description
Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints. The process uses two chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide.
It is a completely manual process and is revealed with sunlight.
Important:Each copy is unique, texture and color may vary.
Each photograph is taken on 300 gr paper. Fabriano
The work shows a meticulous and organised arrangement of circular motifs. Each circle contains a unique design, seemingly derived from a variety of printed sources, such as vintage patterns, typographic elements and illustrations. These elements are rendered in a muted, monochromatic blue tone, which provides a consistent colour palette throughout the circles. The overall style evokes a sense of collage. The circles are arranged in a precise grid on an off-white background, creating a sense of order and visual rhythm.
