An en plein air acrylic painting of The Cutty Sark, Greenwich, London painted in the autumn of 2018. This is a lovely picture with beautiful colours reflecting the fresh autumn colour and light. The brush work is loose and undefined giving a impressionistic feeI. The boat, although static, is rendered in a technique that seems to give it movement - as if speeding through the waves.
I painted this painting while out with a group I started the Facebook group London Sketchers. Please join us :-)
