As soon as I see a nice piece of travertine, I want to get started. The stone is lively by itself, which is why I chose a simple shape with few details. One gesture: a bow of nod. On one side this is tightly executed, on the other side the stone has an extra bend.
The Latin title provides a link to the previous destination of this stone, as part of a church altar.
The sculpture has a smooth finish, but not glossy polished. The stone is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
