This work, rich in colour and realism, depicts a bay window in a Victorian house. Perhaps we are being watched? The net curtains certainly seem to twitch. The houses are typically red bricks, the windows framed in stucco surrounds. Tiny patches of foliage add dark shadow and mystery. Texture has been added to create extra depth. The canvas is 0.5 inches deep and can therefore hang without a frame if wished.
