"I am always on the lookout for reference materials and when I saw this crown I knew I wanted to use it as reference for a gallery show themed ‘Pomp and Circumstance’. Coincidental the frame had been waiting too for an opportunity such as this. The crown inspired me to use black ornaments and I chose a red background for contrast."
