In this work, I wanted to explore how color can hold emotion long after shapes disappear. The deep crimson field grew layer by layer, almost like a landscape formed by feeling rather than earth. Its texture carries tension, warmth, and something unresolved — while the softer peach tones beneath it offer a quiet place to breathe. For me, Crimson Peak is about contrast: between intensity and calm, surface and depth, what we show and what remains hidden. It’s a piece born from intuition, touch, and the raw honesty of paint itself.
