Original artwork description
It is a wooden frame covered with pieces of book pages, cut horizontally into two parts, top and bottom. Between the two, a textured surface unfolds like the frame but in different shades of brown, figured with folds, like an accordion, but not linear, randomly rhythmic and with a cavalier perspective. The browns are painted according to a fictitious light, in relation to the arrangement of the facets. In this work, the emphasis is placed on the work of texture, book paper material, painted then sanded, to obtain a patina that reveals the glued forms.
