Cover Girl is a portrait of the exquisite Donyale Luna. The exotic beauty who was the first black American model to grace the cover of Vouge and Harper’s Bazaar in the 60s. Her look was extraordinary: tall thin and elegant with incredible features. She later became a muse to Salvador Dali, who was in awe of her . This painting is a homage to her legacy and style, using vibrant acrylic colours on a large canvas. The size is 60x80 x5 cm. and the artwork extends around the sides of the canvas so there is no need to frame.
