To me, each artwork is a journey. With "Costa Azzurra," I explore intimate geographies and the essence of the Mediterranean atmosphere.
My creative process captures urban fragments through visual maps that stratify: notes, sketches, photographs, and digital decompositions lead to the final painting. I use acrylics mixed with materials like sand and earth to create a unique tactile dimension. In this piece, this is evident in the contrast between the rough, textured blue outer frame and the clean, geometric lines of the window and wallpaper pattern.
I invite the viewer to cross the boundaries of the everyday and discover new connections between reality and imagination.
