The first of the series, “Cosmic Mycelia” is inspired by fungi. Very fine paint drips on the lower portion resemble extending networks of mycelia, surrounded with splashes of color and dots, resembling energy, intelligence, and communication. Metallic gold, copper and pearl accent the cool color palette. The cosmic meets water in this original painting measuring 30”x66” acrylic on linen. Created February 2022.
