Original artwork description:

“Corsa alla Birra” (Race for Beer), I wanted to create a light-hearted game.
I painted this character, a metal toy that is part puppet and part dreamer, in a cheerful and ironic race.
The beer bottle, like a runaway horse, seems to be pulling him along on this adventure. It is an invitation not to take life too seriously, but to enjoy the journey with lightness and verve, pursuing one's desires, even the most fleeting ones.
I created this work on canvas, treating the background and colouring it with several layers of paint to achieve a unique atmosphere. I traced the outline of the painting with chalk and only then did I begin to paint with oil colours.
I use oil paints, applying many thin layers of suitably diluted colour to create the effects I want.
Once completely dry, I finished the surface with a final coat of varnish to make it UV resistant.
The work has a simple frame and is ready to hang.
The work is signed on the front and back and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Work on display at the exhibition at the LABIRINTO DELLA MASONE
