Story about the painting:
"A few years ago I was in Spain for the bullfights. I have a memory of one moment in which a charging bull got so close to a toreador that it seemed to me that their two bodies had merged into one when they touched. My blood froze in my veins. Fortunately, it turned out well, but I felt compelled to capture that dramatic moment of connection on canvas."
