This version of "Corallium” is a delicate sculpture comprising of twenty five individual circular and intricate coral forms.

This striking coloured dimensional relief is a visual concoction of coral-inspired shapes that invite you to explore their intricate details up close.

My colour palette is inspired by the colours you find on copper or bronze when verdigris forms.

Each of the twenty five coral pieces is meticulously crafted and individually mounted on the black backing board, extending up to 1.5cm to create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow.

As light plays across the sculpture, it casts enchanting shadows that transform the piece throughout the day, offering a fresh perspective with every glance.

Materials used:

Polymer clay, calcium carbonate, styrene-acrylate based polymers, and acrylic paint.

Details:

  • Relief on Paper on board
  • One of a kind artwork
