Original artwork description
An abstract surrealist painting that suggests an underwater world transformed into architecture. Organic structures and layered spaces create the feeling of a living environment, somewhere between landscape and imagined city.
“Coral Reef” uses the reef as a foundation for an imagined civilization. In this world, biology, architecture, and technology merge into a single living system that adapts and evolves in harmony with its surroundings. I wanted the scene to feel like memory and environment at once, part dream and part myth.
My process begins with spontaneous brushwork, then I build texture in layers and refine the surface slowly until the composition becomes coherent and immersive.
