"When the recipe said you needed to use some wine for the sauce, but it also ended up in your glass."
The setting for this painting was based in a beautiful old house in the city of Leiden with a great kitchen. I used brightly colored ingredients and utensils scattered across the table for a fun and messy kitchen experiment. I tried to, accentuate their amusement and friendship.
