Original artwork description
This artwork was created within my project "Immunity for artist" on stypendium from Ministry of Culture of Poland in 2015. The painting depicts my impression from sculpture studio of M. Michalak at Wroclaw Art Academy.
During realisation of my stypendium project I did my best to feel and invigilate creative altars in every single studio which are in the most cases settled by artists on special inspirational places. And, of course, those altars are usually built of different objects on subliminal level with strange combinations of meanings and interesting metaphors. Using pictorial photography, oil painting and collage as media I brouht all my impressions to my working place where I used to make transformation of this visual information into my own story with depiction of that special mood from each visited artistic studio.
The painting style is rather pasty. On the back of the work there is the author's technical description and a signature.
