The convex spaces series is developed in welded and painted steel, mounted on a stone base.
The sculptures in this series play with individual convex pieces that create a single sculptural space when assembled. The game of rotations, movements and assembly generates a complex shape with a great variety of points of view, with many nuances and nooks and crannies.
This collection of sculptures is presented in series of 10 unique units, numbered and signed by the author.
The vividness of color, with which the sculptures are presented, transports us to contemporary architecture, industrial manufacturing or avant-garde design, if we move away from the sculptural point of view. The challenge, which these pieces aim to achieve, is to combine all these visions without perverting any of them.
On this occasion the series orbits around the symbolism of the bull and the anthropomorphic bull, minotaur.
