In this evocative piece, I blend acrylic and oil to capture an intimate moment, rich with layered emotions. The feline companions evoke a mysterious charm, anchoring the scene in silent conversation. For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used in the work. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. I called this series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame.
