In the morning, my cat always sits on the windowsill and waits for me to drink coffee before asking for food. In this piece, I sought to capture a tranquil moment of contemplation. The figure's introspective gaze and the cat's silent companionship create a narrative of stillness against life's chaos. Symbolic elements whisper tales of solitude and reflection.
For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness.
Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas tm Unico were used in the work. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. I called this series "Life in Avatar". Created on and shipped on a pre-stretched canvas on a wooden frame. Painting is packed carefully in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it.
