Original artwork description
In this piece, I capture the spirit of independence and defiance. The central figure stands poised yet resolute, a silent assertion of self in a structured environment. The cats, with their contrasting postures, echo themes of curiosity and composure. The stark monochrome palette against the subtle hues evokes a timeless struggle between conformity and personal liberty. It's an ode to the courage of claiming one's space in the world. What's wrong with your appearance? You're a girl, dress properly! You're already married, wear a proper skirt! If you want to earn decently, don't wear ripped jeans, wear a dress or a suit. If you want to be a real artist, then paint something real, not this stuff. What's real? Hell knows what's real. All my life someone's been trying to program my brain, because that someone probably knows better.) For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian canvas tm Unico were used. Finish - satin varnish. The ends are painted in the background color. Series "Life in Avatar". Created on a pre-stretched canvas on wooden frame. Painting is packed very carefully in cardboard box with layers of bubble wrap to protect it. Artwork is signed in front and back, with a certificate of authenticity.
