Living and painting in both New York City and Santa Fe, I'm inspired by the very different styles of each. Painted at my studio in Galisteo, NM, this painting features a cowgirl in a feathered hat. The back view gives the portrait a sense of mystery while the pose and mountains evoke serenity.
