CONIFERS (studio 3) is a shot from the 'SYKSY' project, created in the autumn of 2021 in Finland, primarily in Lapland.

In the "Conifers (studio 3)" photograph, the conifer forest is the absolute protagonist of the scene.
White drapes of sky descend from above as if to gently caress the lush forest and its lively, colorful undergrowth.
This is the phenomenon of "ruska," the typical and enchanting autumn foliage of Lapland.

With 'Syksy,' I sought to fully immerse myself in the Nordic nature precisely in one of the last unspoiled areas of the European continent, and by letting myself be guided by pure instinct, I began to 'paint' with my camera, creating a true abstract impressionist project.

In this collection, stepping away for once from the minimalist style that often characterizes my work, I decided to focus on the interaction between light and colors to create photos in constant motion.

Even the referential realism present in figurative landscape is definitively surpassed in favor of an extreme, deeply instinctive, and unpredictable subjectivism.
The final transformation of the real world into a surreal mirror.
