The abstract painting ‘Dreams’ transports the viewer into a floating world of colour and light. Numerous transparent circles and bubbles of various sizes unfold in front of a deep dark, almost black background. They seem to float weightlessly, as if they were fleeting thoughts or memories forming in the stillness of the night. The colours of the circles vary from soft pastel shades to bright, intense nuances - cool blue, delicate pink, sunny yellow and a hint of mysterious violet. Where the circles overlap, new, harmonious colour gradients are created, almost like a watercolour that gently blends together. The transparency of the bubbles lends them a fragile, almost dreamlike lightness, as if they could burst or dissolve at any moment. Each circle symbolises a dream - sometimes clear and distinct, sometimes blurred and unattainable. Some seem close, almost tangible, while others seem to disappear into the depths of darkness. They reflect the complexity and unpredictability of our dreams, which overlap, change and speak their own language in the stillness of the night. The interplay of light and shadow, transparency and superimposition creates a hypnotic atmosphere that invites the viewer to immerse themselves in their own dream world and let the floating thoughts take effect on them.
