Original artwork description
This botanical watercolour was commission for the publication 'Breckland Wild Flowers'. The book is available to purchase through Iceni Botanical Artists. The painting is life size with a close up of the flower spike which was made up of the tiniest little individual flowers and a magnifying glass was needed to help me paint it.
The little orchid is native to the UK and I found it growing wild at Blickling Hall, Norfolk. My specimen however was purchased especially for this painting as I needed many weeks to complete such a complex work of art.
The painting is signed on the front and mounted in museum grade off white mount board ready for a frame of your choice.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Carefully packaged with recycled materials where possible and shipped with insurance and tracking.
