Three figures — two children and a character in a rabbit mask — stand near a ledge, seemingly inviting the viewer to follow. The seated figure hesitates, balancing on the edge of choice. The use of silver leaf in the upper part of the composition creates a broken and ambiguous “sky,” further amplifying the surreal, timeless setting.
