Original artwork description
Two rows of colored rectangular tubes out of thick paper are hung from a thin thread. The tubes can rotate with the slightest air currents, making the artwork responsive to movement in space. Thus, the work ‘socializes’ with the presence of people in the room, while it can stay still when no life exists around. The colorful tubes are 'framed' in an elegant wooden case that adds extra protection.
The best location seems to be close to a window or anywhere there is some traffic by people and smooth air currents are present (indoors of course!).
Materials:
High-quality, acid-free colored cardstock, reinforced with an extra layer inside. Plywood case, painted with non-fading polyurethane paint, resistant to scratches. Extra strong polyester thread.
The work has a very long life, provided that is placed inside a room with low humidity and no extreme temperature differences (like any other artwork).
Please note this work is in stock and ready to be shipped within 5 days.
I will be happy to answer any of your questions. Please feel free to send me a message!
Best,
George Koutsouris
