"Colored Breeze on the Water" is an original oil painting on canvas by Antonino Puliafico, developed around landscape, light and natural rhythm. Measuring 100 × 120 cm and dated 2025, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The surface is built through palette knife and impasto, creating a tactile dialogue between colour, depth and movement.
Colored Breeze on the Water” captures the joyous interplay between sky, foliage, and reflective water. Antonino Puliafico uses a thick impasto technique to create a celebration of color and movement: wisps of paint evoke clouds drifting above lush greenery and a mirror-like surface below.
Viewed from a distance the composition resolves as a whole; at close range, the viewer encounters the individual marks, ridges and chromatic transitions that animate the surface.

Materials used:
First-rate oil colors of the Florentine brand "DI VOLO" applied with spatula were used for the painting, and the pictorial support is a cottono canvas pre-painted for oil painting with Gesso and Glue.
