Inspired by the climbs that the Tour de France riders will endure this year. Col du Tourmalet (elevation 2,115 m) is the highest paved mountain pass in the French Pyrenees.
It has been included more than any other pass, starting in 1910, when the Pyrenees were introduced. Shades of grey and yellow make it a simple but very striking piece of Art.
The sides of the canvas are painted so it's ready to hang on the wall. The painting will be varnished with a satin varnish for protection.
