Coastal Glow is an original oil painting from my series of contemporary abstract landscapes and seascapes. This series is inspired by the natural world, the contours of the land and hills, the sky’s atmosphere and cloud formations, the flow of the sea and rivers. These shapes and forms are abstracted to their energetic essence and combined with the vibrant colors that I love so much.

The sky glows in soft rich tones of yellow, orange, red and warm grey as the sun is setting in the sky. There is a suggestion of distant hills and shoreline above a foreground that glows in rich earthy colors. It captures the magical feeling of twilight, where the light softens and warms at the end of the day. The vibrant colors are warm and inviting to add some positive soothing energy to any space.

Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the edges painted a dark color, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front. Finished with a coat of protective varnish.
