Original artwork description
Part of the left edge of the black frame is sunken towards its middle. This action generated a surplus of the internal format towards the outside off-screen on the right. The blue subject triangle can thus “finish” its shape outside the frame. In this work, the transformed format influences the subject as much as the subject on the format. A sort of forced cohabitation which expresses a strong tension in the image of an individual taking his destiny in hand or/and enduring it.
