I wanted to capture a sense of quiet distance, the way a city can feel both present and unreachable when seen across the water. I wasn’t aiming for realism, but for mood.
The bright shapes of the buildings reflect sunlight in a way that feels almost dreamlike. The contrast between the deep blues of the sea and sky and the warm glow of the architecture was meant to evoke stillness, like time slowing down just before evening.
