My spring series inspiration: the pomelo. Say hello to a new color combo that’ll give you a mega dopamine boost: pink and orange—what is considered the two happiest colors.

Being citrus inspired, you’ll find lots of round shapes, half circle “slices,” leaves and even a fruit bowl!I worked large scale, using acrylics on 2.5” deep canvas (the paintings continue onto their sides for a fun look).

Each one has a dramatic presence because of their size and colors—but there’s still lots of white negative space that’ll make you feel refreshed and relaxed.

Painting wraps onto the deep sides for a fun, continuous look.
