“Church of Hutsul Land” is an impressionistic landscape inspired by the breathtaking atmosphere of the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine. The painting captures a view of the church from the upper part of Hutsul Land — an eco-park filled with traditional Ukrainian wooden houses, animals, and the authentic spirit of Hutsul culture.

I created this artwork en plein air during the All-Ukrainian art symposium dedicated to the memory of the renowned Ukrainian artist Opanas Zalyvakha. Working directly from nature allowed me to convey the changing mountain light, fresh air, and peaceful harmony of this unique place.

Painted with confident, expressive brushstrokes in oil on canvas, the artwork reflects the warmth and soul of the Ukrainian Carpathians, combining architectural beauty with the tranquility of mountain life.
