A winter view from the window of my home became the subject of this painting. Not every Christmas anticipation coincides with snowfall. This was exactly such a moment: the Advent season, a beautifully magical snowfall that transformed the entire forest, and in the distance, the window of a neighbour can be seen, traditionally glowing with a Christmas star decoration.

The work has a textured surface, using thick, impasto brushstrokes.

A winter evening with warm, cozy light, creating a sense of comfort, winter atmosphere, and hope, as is often felt during the Christmas season.
