An exquisite and incredibly festive watercolor in which the Christmas tree decoration in the form of a magnificent Bavarian beauty in a traditional dirndl appears in all its radiant charm. I tried to express the characteristic shine of glass, the golden star crown and the subtle shimmer of glitter on the apron and bodice - the work literally glows, like a real antique toy from Inge-Glas or Krebs Glas Lauscha.

The heroine stands on a snow-covered street of an old Alpine town: behind her are the twinkling lights of a Christmas market, cozy houses with illuminated windows and snow-covered fir trees.
The cold blue-violet color scheme of a winter night is surprisingly harmoniously combined with the warm golden-green glow of the figurine itself - you get the feeling that the toy has just come off the tree and went for a walk through a fabulous Christmas.
The work is done with jewelry detail: the lace sleeves of the blouse, the pearl necklace, the tiny red bows on the shoes - everything is worked out to the smallest highlights.
